Locations

Central Highland Lakes

Experience fly fishing in the Tasmania's Central Highland lakes. Perfect for all skill levels, from Mayfly hatches on near by waters such as Penstock Lagoon and Little Pine Lagoon to polaroiding wild brown trout in the western lakes.

Mersey River

The Mersey River is located on the North West Coast and is a 50 minute drive from Launceston. It runs from Lake Meston in the Walls of Jerusalem National Park all the way through to Devonport and into the Bass Strait. It offers exceptional nymphing in the upper sections and consistent caenid hatches on calm mornings and evenings.

Meander River

Meander River is located a short 50 minute drive from the Central Highlands and is a prime tail water fishery known for its strong brown trout population and occasional rainbows. Summer brings exciting rises to caddis and terrestrials, making it a favourite spot for anglers. Meander River was a venue for the World Fly Fishing Championships in 2019.
